在皮老師的博客裏看到交485後對J/F簽證的影響，心裏有點打鼓。我現在的問題是：我老公申請的是Eb-1a,我們已經交了140表。我兒子現在跟我們的簽證是J2，到今年八月底到期（豁免已批準）。

我們是不是需要保險一點先讓兒子把J2轉成F1，然後再遞交485？
-If the I-140 is not approved before the J-2 expires, he needs to change J-2 to F-1. But if the I-140 is approved and he files I-485 before J-2 expires, he may not need to get the F-1. He (also your spouse and you) had better not file I-485 before I-140 is approved.


如果我們的140沒批下來J2可以在什麽地方轉F1，需要什麽手續？謝謝
-Do it within US. He needs to get the I-20 from the school, and the I-539. Ask the school International Student Office to help.
