上次入境時出示的是護照和AP／EAD，the officer stamped H1B on my passport. At that time, my H1B expiration date was 12/13 and EAD/AP was 03/2013. I am wondering maybe the officer usually issued the visa with the longest expiration date? That is why he gave me the H1B visa?
-Then, your H-1 status will be ended in 12/2013. If you don't extend your H-1, you need to use EAD to work and your status will be AOS. By the way, the AP/EAD expiration date means you can not use AP/EAD after that date and it is irrelevant to your status. Your status expiration date is the I-94 expiration date.
If so, now with my EAD/AP expiration date on 03/2015 and H1B 12/2013, the officer most likely would give me "Parolee" with expiration date 03/2015 (or one year)?
