Master 8. Thanks for your reply. My wife is in a similar situation (switching job and would like to get the new TN before giving the 2-week notice).

Would you mind commenting on the following questions? Thanks so much as always!

1. Her new new company's lawyer said that it's risky to go to the border 2 weeks before the stated start date on the TN letter. Based on your impression, is it a major concern?

2. Technically, if the new TN visa said starting date is Oct 10, 2013. Does that mean she has to stop working for the current employer up to Oct10? We are just thinking of the worst case scenario (what if CBP wouldnt write a starting date 2 weeks from the application date). 


3. Between Canadian (Toronto Pearson or Buffalo Peace Bridge) and Mexican (San Ysidro) borders, would you have any recommendation?
