I131 request of add'l info

Has anyone had the experience or heard of that USCIS requested additional evidence or information for I131 Advance Parole? And is it possible to be denied? How long does it take CIS to process additional information?

My hu*****and's I-140 was approved this July. Later we filed I-485 in August as well as my I-131. We filed with Nebraska center. Now after nearly three months,today I found out CIS' website updated the status of my case. They requested additional evidence or information. The notice was sent out yesterday so I doubt my attorney would have received it yet. So at this point we don't know what information they are requesting.

This is shocking news to me for I have been so excited about being able to visit home finally, seven years after I came to the States. I have a busy work schedule, so if I cannot make this December vacation (which I have planned), I won't be able to have another vacation until next May.

I am very disappointed and depressed. Just want to know if anyone had such an experience before. Everyone around me has been telling me that I-131 is easy and it is impossible to be denied. But here I am. Guess I'm the luckiest...

Waiting on line to see if any of you has some advice or information.
