My Green Card attorney told me "It will affect you becoming a US citizen".
Do you know why?

-There are several kinds of low income benefits and you may not be qualified for some of them because your green card was obtained for less than 5 years or you do not have credit for 40 quarters of work. So, what low income benefits have you got? Also, different states may have different policies, so you may contact your status related department.
