4/19/2013 - went to LA INS office InfoPass appt. told officer of situation that we need AP right away for extreme emergency. Officer said he can not see info from Chicago office and he can not take over case. I told him it's done in the past that i saw online, asked him to help. He went to the back and gave me a new I-131 and G325 to fill out. Filled out those form, went to window 13 and sign in. Window 13 is for AP application. Supervisor called my case, gave him all supporting paper. he came out 3 times asking for clarication on the supporting documents, english translation, etc.... we were so nervous. (a tip, just be polite and patient)
Finally after 2 hours, he came out said it's approved, go take pictures. need 2 x passport photos. Finally got the AP paper! (first found out name was incorrectly printed, so he fix) :-)
