I received a biometrics appointment notice for my 12-year old daugther, which surprised me since I never filled out G-325 for her associated with her I-485. Is it necessary for her to have the biometrics appointment?
-Yes. The biometrics collection is for the green card production only (e.g. her picture need to be shown in the green card), not for the background check, so it is different from yours.
Also her passport expired, which i have not renewed, Is that going to create any issues if she bring it to the appointment using it as ID?
