我的優先日期是2009年9月底。按目前的I-485的審批進度，還有大約一年半左右（希望排期不要再度後退）。
我的H1B是今年9月底到期。所以我在想是否可以按照您提到的方法來做： 既今年9月底之後用EAD來繼續工作。

-If you have to pay the H-1 extension fee/lawyer fee (some employer does not follow the H1 rule and ask the employee to pay this fee), you may just use EAD to work.


 不過今年5月中，我的當前EAD到期（還沒有用過）。
-Fine I-765 to renew it (no filing fee).

我的EAD是律師替我申請的，若想更新，是否必須經由律師呢？
-Not at all.

我自己申請更新可以嗎？-Yes, and it is very simple.

若重新申請，則新EAD的有效期怎麽計算： 從批準之日算起還是從前麵的EAD到期日期算起？
-Just apply for a new one (not EAD extension) and normally it is effective from the approval date.

假如 PD 當前，那麽我除了等待批準之外，我還要或者還能做什麽呢？
假如在此其間我的EAD又即將到期，我是不是必須重新更新EAD以保持身份有效？
-Not for 保持身份 (not need to do anything for 保持身份), but for work.

最後，我這樣做的風險大嗎？
