王先生在美國有綠卡，是結婚前拿的綠卡，他的太太現在也在美國，他想給他的太太申請綠卡。

請問他的太太應該以什麽身份來保持她的合法身份？ F--1, 行嗎？

-Any non-immigration status, such as H-1,etc. F-1 is fine, but she can not renew/extend her F-1 if her spouse files I-130 to sponsor her green card. She can keep her F-1 until she graduates, but had better not go outside US, otherwise she can ot get the F-1 visa to come bacl due to immigtration intent.
