-Not need. You have extended your H1 beyond the 6 year limit, so your H1 is not subjected to the 6 yeay limit any more. But you need to have an approved I-140 to extend your H1 again in the future.
但,
2). 但如果有人不小心在交 H1B transfer 之前(雖然仍在原來的 H1B 的I797的有效期內) 先用了 EAD, 或是 3). 不小心在原來的 H1B 的I797的有效期*後* (不管這時候有沒有用EAD), 才提交新的H1B transfer 申請,那麽就必須為 新的H1B 境外待一年.
-This is somewhat complicate, and you have to convince USCIS that you were not in the H1 status during the period of time (your H1 status stop: e.g. you changed your status to another status such as F1, H4, etc.).
