I told my表哥the same thing. But they yelled at their 90s old mother to say she shall help the grandchild.

 It is just add grandchild name on the title and use it for visa application,

-This will not work for the B2 visa application. The child needs to show the cash amount he can use immediately for the cost, not the house value. The house title is used to by mature person to show the connection to China (no immigration intent) and teh child does not need it.

not take any penny from grandmother.
