parents still have not received green card

Dear All,

I am citizen and applied green cards for my parents last July, now already more than 6 months after the receipt letters(more than 5 months after finger print taken).Now the I-130 status is still initial review and the processing time for I-130 is either May 28,2012 in one service center and June 1,2012 in another service center.The processing time have not updated more than 3 weeks.I called USCIS one week ago and was told they only process the case applied before may 28,2012. 

Is this normal for parents' green card application?Previously, some friend's parents got green card in 3 months and some got in 5 months

How lond did your parents receive green cards recently?
