我的一個朋友從2004年開始用H1B工作， 期間跳槽了好多大公司。然後去年底變成G4簽證(UN, world bank）, 以前一直不重視辦綠卡， 現在發現EB3排期到了，想是否可以辦I-485, G4簽證時估計沒有辦法直接FILE,問是否可以專成其他簽證然後辦？
-Not need to change his/her current status to another status and G2 status is OK to file I-485. The problem is that he/she needs to get the support letter from the Eb3 I-140 sponsor to agree to hire him/her back after he/she gets green card and support him/her I-485 filing. Otherwise, he/she can not use this I-140 to file I-485.
If the I-140 sponsor (employer) agrees to support him/her I-485 filing now, he/she just needs to file forms I-508 (Waiver of Rights, Privileges, Exemptions and Immunities) and I-566 (Interagency Record of Request) along with I-485 filing.
而且事後可以把原來那個PD carry over?
-Yes if he/she can file another employer to sponsor a sponsor a new I-140.
那個approved I-140 by company A never got revoked or canceled.
