請各位老師，能給出我為什麽會有這樣奇怪的情況的可能性嗎？好讓我心裏有個底啊。

-Most likely USCIS messed up your case. You can not do anything and just continue your work. Then, ask the lawyer or HR to contact USCIS to see what happened. Nothing needed to worry about as long as you filed the extension before your old H-1 expired.
