老公7月底從公司的一個Campus搬到另一個Campus（分屬不同城市，但在同一個County,相距12miles），是整個小組都搬過去，除了辦公地點變了，其它什麽都沒有變。現在公司律師說要辦H1 Amendment，但是要交$5,000,估計老公的老板不太願意，我也覺得律師要得太多（覺得哈，我沒有根據），現在的H1明年9月到期。想問一下，這種情況一定要辦那個Amendment嗎？
-Had better file it in case USCIS do on-site inspection of your H1 though the chance is small. Normally the lawyer fee for H1 should be lexx than $1,000. If > $1000, it is too expensive.
可以不用律師自己辦嗎？
-If your employer agree and you know how to do it (it is very simple procedure), you may prepare the paper work an your employer sign it.
還有一個選擇就是用EAD，但覺得排期遙遠，比較玄。
-If you have EAD, you may not need too do the H1 amendment, thus if USCIS do on-site H1 inspection, you can say you have EAD to work (renew your EAD from time to time). If they do not do on-line inspection, then you just renew your H1 in advance up to 6 months for the the new work site before your current h1 expires.
