Pjiang, 863211 請救救!!

兒子明年2月將滿21 歲了。 我們在今年初給兒子交了485，他過去2年一直在H4 的狀態。 學校剛通知他下學期應該轉為F1 身份。因為他將滿21 歲了。

剛和律師聯係， 下麵是他的回答：

Your son really should not go on F-1 status at this point. The F status indicates non-immigrant intent but since the I-485 has been filed, he clearly has immigrant intent. He should work with the DSO at his school and let you son know to tell them an I-485 has been filed.

兒子告訴學校已經交了485。為什麽學校還堅持說他應該換身份呢？ 我們應該如何給學校解釋？ 或者說我兒子下學期可以用什麽身份是合法的呢？
