請教這裏的各位老師和同學們：
女：中國出生，加拿大公民，
男：美國綠卡持有者，英國國籍，目前不夠申請入美國籍的條件也沒有打算入美國籍。
已經結婚。目前不在美國。即將搬去美國居住,女方不工作。
通常加拿大公民在美國可以呆 6個而不需簽證。為長遠在美國居住，女方到美國後準備申請婚姻綠卡，男方工作收入不是問題。女方並不急於拿到綠卡，主要是可以在美國長期居住就可。
有幾個問題請教。
1。申請了綠卡之後，在等待綠卡的過程中，女方是否可以合法地在美國居住6個月以上直至拿到綠卡 ？
-No unless she gets another status such as F-1, H-1, etc.
還是必須離開美國，在加拿大等待？
2。申請了綠卡之後，在等待綠卡的過程中，女方去其它國家旅遊後再進入美國會否有問題？
-Hard to say and may be fine if she will apply for the immigration visa in Canada.
3。考慮到以上問題 1 和 2， 申請綠卡是進入美國之後再申請呢還是目前從海外直接申請？
-The problem is that she has to wait for the priority date to be current (2.5 to 3 years), thus she can either come to US to file I-485 or apply for the immigration visa in Canada. She had better choose to apply for the immigration visa in Canada in the I-130 when her spouse files I-130, thus it will be convenient for her either to file I-485 in US or to apply for the immigration visa in Canada.
