母親10年8月拿到綠卡，11年十月因父親生病回國。今年7月初回美國申請回美紙，入關時，被盤查，說你往返中美不需要綠卡，有簽證就行了。後向移民局官員解釋是因為父親生病，他說暫時可以不收回綠卡，但他們會跟蹤的。
母親8月中按了指紋，就回中國照顧父親，現父親已去世，母親準備十月再回美國，但回美紙至今還未收到，請問入關時會有麻煩嗎？
-If she will return to US before receiving the Renetry permit (RP), she had better bring the RP filing receipt, your father's illness proof (e.g. Dr.'s letter or hospital bills) and his death certificate with her. If the IO question her, she can show these documents and explain it. I don't think she will be trouble to enter US.
