Submit a copy of your birth certificate showing your parentage, which has been registered with the proper civil authorities of the country of your birth.
-This IO may think the Chinese birth certificate is the same as that of a native US citizen. Actually, most of Chinese have no original birth certificate like a native US citizen, but provide the 出生公證書 and it works well for green card application.
這句話有些搞不懂。我想大概有兩種理解：
1. Submit a copy of your birth certificate; the cetificate should show your parentage and also is issued by an agency that has been registered with the proper civil authorities of the country of your birth.
2. Submit a copy of your birth certificate that shows your parentage; and your parentage should has been registered with the proper civil authorities of the country of your birth.
應該是哪種呢？如果是前一種，
我想提供國內市級公證處出示的出生公證書應該可以了

。如果是後一種，難道還要提供父母的戶口或其他資料。或者還有其他理解？實在費解，望各位指教。
