我是公民，準備給父母辦綠卡，父母現在國內。看了論壇裏的帖子，材料清單裏不少都列了父母的出生證或出生公證，可我讀了I-130 instructions,沒發現這個要求，in the instructions,
item 6: for mother, only need my birth certificate
item 7: for father, need my birth certificate and their marriage certificate
-Your parents' birth certificates are not required for your I-30 filing, but it is needed for their immigration visa pplicaitons later (NVC will ask for these documents later).
我有如下問題：
1。我沒有出生證，以前（2005年）辦過出生公證，上麵寫了父親和母親的名字。這是不是就夠了？
-出生證 or 出生公證 includes: your name, your parents' names, your birthdate and place of your birth.
2。父母的結婚證已遺失（年代太久遠了），如果非得要，辦個公證可以嗎？
-出生公證 is fine.
3。父母的出生公證需要嗎？沒有看到這條要求。

4。走廣州領館申請移民簽證的路線，從我遞I-130開始，大概要多長時間？沒有排期的問題，6個月夠嗎？
-Normally one year to two years, case by case. After your I-130 is approved, USCIS will forward your case to National Visa Center (NVC) for processing, then NVC will contact you and give you instructions. Then, just follow NVC instrucitons to provide what they require.
5。看起來從廣州申請，申請費要少很多，(移民簽證費和I-485 filing費相比），不知理解的對嗎？
