-If you have indicate/choose in the I-130 that your child will apply for the immigration visa in China, you do not need to tell USCIS that your child has been to China. But if you indicate/choose in the I-130 that your child will file I-485 adjustment of status in US, then your child leaves US to apply for immigration visa in China, then you need to file I-824 to USCIS after the I-130 is approved (this will delay the process), thus USCIS will send the case to NVC for processing for your child immigration visa application in China. So, you had better choose visa application in Guangzhou in the I-130 to avoid I-824 filing. Even if she is in US at that time, she still can go to China to apply for the immigration visa in this case.
