請問老師，我想申請H1B和H4延期。已經有EAD了。我老公剛剛要用EAD開始工作，那他是不是就不可以申請H4延期了？

-Correct. He does not need to extend his H4 if he wants to work. But you had better extend your H1. Thus, if your I-485 and his I-485 are denied, you still have your H1 status, and then, he just needs to go to China to apply for the H4 visa to come back to return to his H4 status.

我們是否應該先申請H4延期，等批準後再用EAD開始工作。
