剛從USCIS local office回來，IO說他們不能重新安排新的打指紋預約，要我們一定先回複“intent to deny”的信，聽候發落。IO的判斷是，I-485很可能被拒絕。
-It seems too late for your wife to visit the USCIS local office to request reschedule of the biometric appointment. If your wife had gone there before the notice of intent to deny (NOID) was issued, they would have made a new schedule of the appointment for her.
各位可有什麽好主意？
-Your wife has to respond to the NOID and explain what happened and what she has done after she missed the biometric appointment (e.g.向USCIS提出了Reschedule的請求, etc.) and then, ask USCIS whether they can resechedule it for her. Then, see what will happen.
If the I-485 is denied, she can re-submit a new I-485.
在回來的路上，老婆問我，如果主動放棄（撤回）I-485（有此一說嗎？），那麽今後家裏的其他人有了GC，她還可以申請B2嗎？
-It is very very difficult for her to get the B2 visa in the future due to immigration intent.
當初她並不想要GC，因為即使拿到也很難保持住（大部分時間在中國），隻是聽了律師的勸告，才提交的I-485。花了不少錢，現在大呼心痛。
