我國內的同學婆婆找了個美國老頭結婚了，先在正在辦移民，據說已經差不多快了。 同學想知道這種情況下她老公和他可以通過她婆婆或者美國老頭的關係移民美國嗎？

-No. The marriage of your同學婆婆 and 美國老頭 has to occur before your 同學老公 turned 18 years old so that 美國老頭 can sponsor your 同學老公's green card.

 

同學和他老公先在還沒有領證。如果可以的話大約要辦多久呢？

 

是要等到她婆婆公民以後辦好嗎？

-Yes. 她婆婆 takes 3 years to become a US citizen after she gets the green card and then sponsor her hu*****and including her and kids (if any) which normally takes about 10 years (F3 category). 她婆婆 can not sponsor the green card before becoming a US citizen if her hu*****and marry her.
