pjiang,863211 and other teachers, a question regarding pregnancy

a friend with 485 pending, will leave for 4 months due to the pregnancy. The company is tryinng to pay her during these day with short term di*****ility, extended sick leave and PTO, kind of combination. Will this affect her status and green card application?
