回複：關於老人綠卡申請問題

幾個問題想請教大家：

去年給我母親遞交的綠卡申請。I-130 已批準，但485需要補交材料：certification of good conduct 因為兩次fingerprint都被reject. 現在的問題是：

1. 我母親不願在美國繼續等下去，想八月回國。請問現在可以withdraw485嗎？

-Yes, but she does not need to do that.

如果想在中國繼續申請綠卡，下一步該怎麽辦？

-Get the Advanced parole before she leaves US.

2. 如果想徹底放棄移民申請，以後申請B-2簽證會不會有麻煩？

-I think so because the immigration intent (I-485 filing) and withdrawal of I-485 is not helpful.

 她的B-2簽證已過期。

老人很糾結，已經過了70歲，不想常住美國。但我還是想給她申請綠卡，這樣省去簽證的辛苦，也為將來多了一個選擇，我國內有一個弟弟，不想把負擔都留個他。
