回複：持綠卡父母申請綠卡給未婚女兒

我（公民）幫父母申請了綠卡，但他們總惦記家裏的大姐。大姐未婚，雙目失明。有辦法幫大姐也申請綠卡嗎？以我的名義得排很長時間的隊，能以父母的名義申請嗎？

-It takes about 7 to 8 years for your sister to get the green card under your parent's sponsor if she will never get married. It takes about 10 to 11 years under your sponsor no matter whether she will get married or not. I would suggest both you and one of your parents to sponor your sister's green card in case, i.e. file two I-130s, respectively, and these two I-130s will not affect each other.

還是需要我的經濟擔吧？

有沒有人有經驗分享？我也擔心醫療費用，如大姐能申請到綠卡，可否申請醫療補助？
