回複：關於小女轉身份排期請教皮老師&8老師及各位大俠

請教皮老師、8老師及各位大俠：俺老公（女兒繼父）是公民，俺是綠卡，女兒今年剛滿20（92年6月出生），目前F1。俺邦其轉身份，請教了當地律師及加州華人律師，兩個說法：當地律師說小女轉身份最起碼8年，他認為時間太長不值得轉，還不如F1畢業後找工作再轉；加州律師說雖然過了18周歲但未滿21周歲隻要3-4年，如果是這個時間的話當然還是值得我幫她轉的。

疑問：一、兩個不同的律師關於排期說法怎麽會相差這麽多？

-Because your child will reach 21 years old very soon, so you only can sponsor her green card using F2b category (she can not get the green card before 21 using F2A) and thus, it will take about 8 years. So, 當地律師 is right.

One exception is that if your current marriage occurred before your child turned 18 years old, your hu*****and (your child step-father) can sponsor your child's green card, and thus, she can get the green card within one year. 

二、如果我舍近求遠請加州律師，轉身份時填寫各類表格遠程是否方便，還有簽字確認等問題？
