I'm J1 visa and have to go back China recently, however, my LD works here with H1B visa, I know I could apply for J1-waiver with J1/F1 visa, how about B2 visa (as visiting my LD)? For J1 visa, I could not extend it. For F1 visa, I have to wait next year Fall admission. Therefore, I just want to know if B2 visa works for J1 waiver.
any suggestion, I would be appricated of it.
