從TN 到綠卡

請問，我現在是拿TN簽證在美工作, 如果我不轉H1B,而直接申請EB3,那麽3年後我申請TN續簽的時候， 邊境的 移民官會拒簽我嗎？還有， 我需要告訴我的雇主， 我不需要轉h1B, 直接申請EB3嗎？現在申請Eb3, 大概需要多長時間？謝謝
