替朋友問：H1 第6年申請的NIW，140還未批，H1 6年要到期了（還有1、2個月），還能申請加急嗎？

知道以前有個政策可以在到期前60天內申請加急，可律師說已經取消了。確實是這樣麽？另外，1、2個月內哪裏可以申請F1或B2 過渡一下?
-Maybe it is too late. My suggestion is that your friend had better go to China now and thus, the 6-year H1 clock will stop running (the time he/she spends in China will not be counted as the H1 time). Then, after the I-140 is approved, he can ask the employer to extend his H1 beyond the 6 year limit (using premium processing for the H1 extension) and then apply for the H1 visa to come back. Many people who have the same situation normally do the same way.
