Already filed one employee based I-485, but now the priority day moved backwards and pending.

Spouse became US citizen, can I file another i-485 now?

-Yes, but actually you do not need to file a new one and just ask USCIS to do the I-485 relink/interfiling from the I-140 to the I-130. Thus, you can save money and time.

Will this cause any confusion for the USCIS?
