我朋友持a5卡，5月5號剛遞交485申請表，還沒有收到收據。母親剛檢查出癌症，請問：她現在可以回去看母親嗎？都需要辦理什麽手續？請給些建議。再次感謝。。。
-It seems she got the plitical asylee status, right? If she go the I-485 receipt before she leaves, she just bring the I-485 filing receipt to the USCIS local office to apply for the emergency AP to travel to China (bring the emergency evidence also such as the Dr. or hospital certitication letter of her mother illness, etc.). If she can not wait for the I-485 receipt, she may just go to the USCIS local office to see whether she can get the Refugee Travel Document. Please note that the use of Refugee Travel Document (without AP) to travel will not affect her pending I-485 (this is different from regular I-485 applicant).
