朋友，中年，綠卡3年，未婚妻在中國。未婚妻有個孩子19歲現在F1美國高中讀書（今年上大學）。朋友想夏天回去結婚。因為未婚妻不是大學畢業，很難找到工作自己來。過兩年就能辦內退，然後再來（等朋友公民辦配偶）。不想讓移民局看起來像假結婚，所以想現在就辦手續。但又擔心結婚是否影響孩子的F1簽證。
所以有幾個問題。
1。不知道現在結婚對孩子以後的F1簽證有什麽影響？
-Not affect it. Irrelevant. But if the child's mother has immigrated to US (get green card), then the child needs to prove his/her connection to his biological father is very tight to show he has no immigration intent wqhen he apply for the F-1 visa in the future after his/her mother get the green card.
即使暫時不申請綠卡的話，孩子申請F1時是否有移民傾向？
-No.
--因為估計再申請簽證時需要填上繼父吧？
-Yes, but it does not matter.
2。如果結了婚。孩子反正在美國，能先替孩子申請綠卡嗎？孩子可以自己保持F1到拿到綠卡。那樣就不用擔心過了21歲申請綠卡的麻煩了。但是不是申請綠卡期間孩子就不能再出美國了？
-The step-father can not sponsor the child green card because the marriage of the child's mother and step-father occurs after the child turned 18 years.
3。如果等到過兩年拿到公民再結婚的話，是否還能幫孩子申請美國綠卡（孩子也許超過21了）。
-No, same reason above.
4。有人說在孩子18歲之前和18之後結婚，申請綠卡的結果會不同。有這一說嗎？
-Correct.
朋友不想影響孩子。不知道怎麽對孩子最好？
