請問8老師和皮匠老師,dependent的EAD卡已經被USCIS批準,已有SSN,在卡寄到前,可以工作嗎?

公司的律師非常ｃｏｎｓｅｒｖａｔｉｖｅ，說要拿到卡才可以,是這樣嗎？
