在老公等待他的綠卡時期（I485 PENDING，empolyment base），他被laid off了，心想他的綠卡也泡湯了，所以我們搬回來了加拿大，已經快兩年了，結果昨天在美國的親戚來電說收到了他的綠卡。
盼望已久的綠卡，如今收到了也不知道是喜還是悲，因為沒有住美國快兩年了，如果用這個綠卡入境，不知道海關會不會問很多問題，例如問你什麽時候離開美國，怎麽辦？更嚴重的是，會不會認為有冒領的問題？（因為隻有留住在美國，才有資格拿到這個綠卡吧。 ）如果海關知道我們已經離開美國快兩年了，綠卡就會被取消了嗎？是不是by land 入境查得比較鬆？
-His green card is valid and he can and must use this green card to enter US, no more just use his Canadian passport or a non-immigration visa/I-94. Otherwise, his green card will be void. Also, like every US green card holder, he needs to have the intent to live in US permanently and thus, he can not stay outside US for > one year continuously from the date of the green card issued unless he has reentry permit.
