Can I apply for GC at two firm

I am wondering if I can ask my company to apply for green card on regular catagory for me. And at the same time I hire another lawyer to apply for green card on NIW category. Is there any conflict? What if the immigration approve the first one and then start to process the second one. are they gonna cancel the green card they have approved of? Thanks a million.
