我現在手上有:

I-797A, Notice of Action (CASE TYPE I129)

I-797C, Notice of Action (CASE TYPE I140)

我的問題是:I-797C 是否是I-140 approve notice?
           I-797A 是否是I-797 approve notice?

為什麽我沒有I-797B 呢?

-All the notices are I-797 and whether it is receipt or approval notice depends on what words are indicated in the I-797. Just read the notice and you should tell whether it is receipt or approval notice. For example, for the H1 approval notice (I-129 filing),  I-797C is for you (beneficial), I-797A (has I-94) is for the employer, I-797B (has no I-94) is also for the employer. If your employer receive I-797B, you need to get the H1 visa outside US to activate your H1.

For your I-485 filing, any one of the I-797s (A, B, or C) plus I-94 is OK.
