Thanks a lot. But what will happen if the H1B holder is not able to find a job after the termination of his/her job for 180 days, provided that his/her H1 I-94 is still not expired yet and he/she has already submitted his/her I-485?
-He/she just can stay in US legally with AOS and find a new job in the same/similar area (either use EAD to work or get the H1 visa outside US), then his/her I-485 will be safe.
Is this situation calculated as OOS?
-His/her status is AOS (Adjustment of status) and legal stay.
If he/she has already got his/her AP approved, whether he/she needs to travel across the US border to get a CBP stamp before the 180-day limit?
-Do nothing if he/she will use EAD to work. If he/she want to work as a H1 holder, he/she needs to get the H1 visa outside US any time because the H1 approval will have no I-94 in this case.
