請問各位老師，我們的排期是09年1月6日，主申請人是我老婆，生物領域的niw，現在的情況是，lp的老板沒有funding了，但是允許lp從2月份到5月份休3個月的personal leave來保持h1b。

正好我找到了另外一個城市的工作，現在我是opt，現在lp已經和我一起到了新的城市並且開始找工作了。今天lp麵試後，一個老板說可以先來她的實驗室做H1B的volunteer
（目前這個老板正在問hr是否可以用h1b做不支薪的volunteer），

我的問題是：請問如果老板給了這個volunteer的offer，我們可以遞交485的申請麽？
-No volunteer offer is legal for your spouse (your spouse can not work for this professor without pay). H1 holder has to be paid at the prevail wage level either for part-time or full-time job.
