兩年半前來探親的母親去加拿大旅遊，護照丟失，被迫延期。後雖補了護照和I-94. 因擔心今後簽證困難，延期過後，仍逾期居留近兩年。

現在以公民身份給母親辦綠卡。這個周末母親綠卡麵試，求教如何解釋逾期問題
