1) 如果 AP 在 pending 的時候離境，但是以 H-1, H-4, L-1, L-2, K-3, K-4, V-1, V-2, or V-3 身份入境，其 AP 申請不認為是放棄；

I heave read the above sentence as well as thec whole article. I do not care AP is effective or not.

I do care whether I can go US-Canada border to get new I-94 for new H-1B and at same that trip will de-validate I-485 application， ie my I-485 "不認為是放棄".

當你在美國境內申請身份調整，交了 I-485 之後，你就應該一直停留在境內，直到 I-485 有了結果。
如果你需要離境，若非事先申請 AP 並獲批，你將不能再返回美國。當你不在境內，你的 I-485 也就完戲了。對於 H/L/K/V 例外。

Strictly, when I go out, I have not new H-1B. Is it right? Or new H-1B approval notice means I have new H-1B?
