請教: Is ok to file I-485 this week for VB January 2012

請教8老師等大師：
我的EB2 NIW在January 2012是Current,律師準備這個星期五Dec 30,2011就寄出我的I-485.但是根據我的理解：I-485必須在January 01,2012(inlucing)以後寄出，否則I-485就要被Deny, 所以我要求律師在January 03,2012寄出我的I-485. 我的理解是對的? 謝謝賜教！
