When you apply U.S. citizenship in the future, having a Canadian P.R. might cause trouble. The immigraiton officer might deny your naturalization applicaiton on the ground that you have shown intention to abandon U.S. as your permanent place of residence. However it's a matter of interpretation of "intention" and it's subject to litigation.
