一個人在六年到期時因為滿足延期三年的條件而延續了三年，那麽在九年到期時，他一定可以再延期三年嗎？而不管當時可能的情況變化？我的具體意思是假如九年時他的排期正好處於“當前”狀態，那他究竟是按照你話中的意思而可以再延期三年？還是這次隻能再延期一年了？

-Every time you extend your H1, just ask for 3 year extension even if your PD is current and then, if your PD is still current when USCIS make the decison, USCIS will only approve your H1 for one year extension. If your PD is retreated when USCIS make a decision, they will approve your H1 for 3 years because your PD is not current again.  If you only ask for one year, then you will only get one year extension even if your PD retreats when USCIS make a decsion on your case. So, asking for extension of 3 years does not hurt you anything, but may get the benefit.
