I came to the country in 2004 as F2; in Aug 2007 changed to F1; in Nov. 2007 was changed to H4 (because of an earlier application before F1); in the end of Nov. 2007, changed back to F1.

currently when I prepare I-485, I can't get the I-94 card for Aug 2007 when I went to Mexico to change the status from F2 to F1.

Will missing this card matter?

-Have you beeen to China since Aug 2007 you came back from Mexico? If yes, you do not need to provide this I-94. If no, you need to provide it for your I-485 filing because it is the most importnat proof of your legal entry to US and your legal status in US.

Read the following links to get the information about how to get the replacement.If you do not want to get the repalcement, you may go outside US to get a visa such as F1 visa to come back to get a new I-94 and then, you only need to provide this new I-94.
