My I-485 packaged was delivered on 11/03/11, and yesterday I got a text message said they
recieved my application and the check was cashed. and they will send us a written
note by mail. also I got my case numbers, when I logged into uscis case status using my
case number, I found the following information:
"PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case."
-That means they sent you the I-485 filing receipt.
But we never recieve any notice except the text we got yesterday, I am worrying we missed the note for FP.
-Don't think they have made the biometric appointment for you at this time because it normally occurs two months to several months later after you filed I-485.
Is it true once we missed it or the mail lost, we can't make it to the FP appointment as they set.
they will think WE abandon OUR appplication automatically? Worrying never stops for me during this process, I appreciate your support.
