We got two emails from USCIS last night. And both my I-485 and my hu*****and's 485 were approved per the emails. Below, please see the information about our cases. Hopefully, it could be helpful to other pending EB2's.

Service Request for I-485: Oct 11, 2011

Our I-485 cases are current on this month. And we did the service requests on Oct 11, 2011. The confirmation emails for the service request were received this past Monday Oct 24, 2011. The emails for the case update from USCIS were received at 10:15PM Oct 27, 2011. Both emails indicated I-485 Card/Document Production.

We feel that the service request was very helpful. Yesterday We have seen the updated I-485 inventory released this month. There are at least 1,000 Chinese EB2's prior to Mid July 2007 that are still pending. I thought it would take easily a couple of months to process the I-485 with priority date of Mid July 2011. Luckily last night our I-485 were approved.

Finally, we really appreciate PJ, 863321, and other experts on this board. Their information and experience is very useful! Again, thank you very much!
