h1b明年十月就6年到期了，如果今年12月份找到新工作然後開始辦綠卡， 還來得及嗎？ 

-Yes if everything goes smoothly. You can use premium processing to get the I-140 approved in 15 days after the PERM is approved. Then, extend your h1 beyond the 6 year limit for another 3 years term.

還有，如果是轉成F1 （或 H4），需要離境後再簽證嗎？

-No if you file the change fo status before your H1 expires.
