Our head company changed my company's name and tax ID and maybe something else based on our head company's strategy. We still do same business as before. If my current company files 140 amendment, how long it takes
-It may take several months, but if you use premium processing, it can be apporved in 15 days.
and how it affect 485 process (my priority date is current now)?
-You just to the I-485 interfiling/relink to both old I-140 and amended I-140 and not affect anything.
If can we do 140 amendment if I get 485 RFE regarding this issue?
-Yes, but it may delay your I-485 approval. If you do not do I-140 amendment, you may get the RFE because USCIS can not tell the old company is actally the new company. Anyway, discuss my suggestion with your lawyer.
